Chic, Spacious Home With Hot Tub + Free Parking!

BEWARE WHEN USING BOOKING.COM Positive: The free parking and location Negative: I am not one to write reviews as I always seem too busy to write good reviews therefore feel its unfair to leave negative reviews but I shall make an exception in this case due to the complete lack of disregard booking.com have to helping their consumers including the CEO who doesn't even acknowledge his emails. Beware that booking.com is based in the Netherlands, therefore, they are not bound by the same laws set out in the UK. This is why I believe they completely disregard customer complaints and use AI bots to 'answer' any emails. This property was booked for my mother's 60th birthday with our family. Both Mum and Dad have mobility issues with Mum having MS and Dad Heart Failure and Parkinsons. As you can imagine, we were looking for very specific requirements for our stay, and the above property seemed to tick all the boxes. Our specifications were: Ground floor accommodation for my parents. Extra space for the rest of us to relax in the evening to give our parents a rest. Hot tub for Mum to relax her muscles and joints, which also would give the children in our party a place to relax and 'play'. The above property listing and our issues: SEPERATE GROUND FLOOR STUDIO APARTMENT: I had called the host/manager prior to our arrival (also prior to payment being taken) to ensure that the ground floor studio also included a bathroom/shower room and I was advised that it did. When we arrived, I was shocked to see that, yes indeed there was a ground floor shower room. However, no bed in sight. I did call the host/manager, and he advised that they changed the layout and offered to get someone to move a bed. I asked why this wasn't made clear on the call and why the description wasn't changed. He explained that booking.com properties are unable to change the description, and he was confused when I called about the bathroom.

IT WAS HIORRENDOUS IT WAS FALSE MARKET ING FROM START TO FINISH NEVER HAVE WE STAYED IN A DISGUSTING ACCOMMODATION Positive: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING .IT WAS DISGUSTINGLY FILTHY .WALL PAPER COMING OFF THE WALL.NO SMOKE ALARMS.NO CARBON MONOXIDE ALARMS,CARPETS FILTHY.FLUSH NOT WORKING. SHOWERS WERE DIRTY & GRUBY.BEDS NOT MADE UP FOR THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE STAINS ON SOFA & CUSHIONS WERE DIRTY

Brilliant Positive: A fantastic location and lovely house for a family getaway. The hot tub was a brilliant addition and we had plenty of room for everyone in the spacious house. Highly recommend!
